VANCOUVER -- The Vancouver Canucks have assigned forward Nicklas Jensen to the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves.

Jensen made his NHL debut Monday against San Jose. He didn't register a point in two games with Vancouver. Prior to joining the Canucks, he had four points (two goals, two assists) in 11 games with the Wolves.

The six-foot-three forward recorded 23 points (17 goals, six assists) in 50 games with AIK Stockholm of the Swedish Elite League in 2012-13. He led all SEL rookies in goal scoring and finished tied for 11th in goals.

Jensen was originally selected by Vancouver in the first round, 29th overall, in the 2011 NHL draft.
