Reid Boucher has something Steve Stamkos doesn't. The Sarnia Sting's single-season goal record.
The 19-year-old forward scored three times as Sarnia defeated the host Saginaw Spirit 8-7 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Boucher now has 60 goals in only 63 games, which surpasses Stamkos' previous mark of 58 set in 2007-08. In total, Boucher has 91 points this season and sits fourth OHL scoring.

Sarault now has 22 goals and 102 points in 63 contests, which leads the OHL.
Mike Dipaolo, Daniel Nikandrov, Alex Carnevale and Nikolay Goldobin each scored once to round out Sarnia's offence.
DiPaolo's goal was the first of his OHL career in 52 games played.
Jimmy Lodge scored twice for the Spirit (29-26-6), who are winless in three games, and Eric Locke had three assists.

Knickolas Dawe made 38 saves for the Sting as Jake Paterson allowed eight goals on 17 shots in 40 minutes of action for the Spirit. Nikita Serebryakov replaced Paterson to start the third period and stopped all four shots he faced in relief.
Sarnia went 3 for 6 on the power play while Saginaw scored twice on three chances with the man advantage.
