The Hamilton Tiger-Cats dipped into free agency early, landing former first overall draft pick Shomari Williams. Hamilton signed Williams to a three-year deal.
After being drafted in 2010, Williams spent the first three years of his career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, where he racked up 90 tackles, five sacks, and an interception.
Last year was perhaps Williams' most productive. The 27-year-old picked up 59 tackles and two quarterback sacks.
