PETERBOROUGH, Ont. -- Andrew D'Agostini made 46 saves to lead the Peterborough Petes to a 3-1 win over the Brampton Battalion in the lone Ontario Hockey League game Thursday night.
Nick Czinder and Jonatan Tanus each had a goal and an assist and Stephen Pierog also scored for Peterborough (19-29-7). Patrik Machac scored the only goal for Brampton (25-21-9).
Machac opened the scoring on an assist from Zach Bell 9:15 into the first period.
Pierog tied the game at 14:49 of the second and Czinder scored the only power play goal of the game just under four minutes later when he ripped a shot past Matej Machovsky, who made 33 saves.
Brampton fought to tie the game, outshooting Peterborough 21-7 in the third period, but couldn't beat D'Agostini.
Tanus closed out the scoring with an empty-net goal with 1:03 to play.
