[SurroundSound] convert flac to mac...

i am valiantly trying to get a surround mix (flac files) to work on my mac. i have tried numerous conversions (in toast, burn, various esoteric apps),

but continually wind up with...static.

have been googling for hours. cannot figure this out.

any suggestions? have 2 flac files that show as dts. (am on ML 10.8.2).

...and here's where i insert a sad smilie face...
