TORONTO -- Toronto FC has traded winger Joao Plata to Real Salt Lake for a second-round draft pick.
Toronto sent the 20-year-old Plata out to loan in his native Ecuador last season.
The pint-sized Plata scored 10 goals and added nine assists in 52 appearances in all competitions for Toronto.
