Roberto Luongo will start consecutive games in net for the Vancouver Canucks for the first time this season.
Coach Alain Vigneault confirmed Luongo as his starter prior to Wednesday night's game against the Northwest Division rival Colorado Avalanche.
Luongo stopped 26 of 28 shots Monday in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Los Angeles Kings. He's 0-0-2 this season with a 2.21 goals-against average and .917 save percentage in a pair of starts and one appearance in relief of Cory Schneider.
Schneider has both of Vancouver's wins this season, going 2-2-0 with a 3.13 GAA and .897 save percentage.
