The Toronto Raptors have agreed to sign free agent shooting guard Mickael Pietrus, according to USA Today.
The report states that the deal will be finalized on Friday and that the Raptors are likely to waive small forward Dominic McGuire in order to complete the deal.
Pietrus joined Boston last season and appeared in 44 games for the Celtics averaging 6.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.
The 30-year-old has spent time in Golden State, Phoenix, Orlando as well as Boston over a nine-year NBA career.
His best season came as a member of the Warriors in 2006-07 when he averaged 11.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
The Raptors were forced to hit the free agent market after small forwards Landry Fields and Alan Anderson were both sidelined by injuries.
