KENT, Wash. -- Meryl Davis and Charlie White of the U.S. won their third straight Skate America dance title Sunday.

The four-time reigning national champions captured the silver medal at this year's world championship. They have won 10 straight Grand Prix events, including the last four Grand Prix finals.

Skating to music from "Notre Dame de Paris," Davis and White totalled 176.28 points over two days of competition, including 104.89 in Sunday's free dance.

They were more than 16 points ahead of Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitri Soloviev of Russia, who had 159.95 for second.

Canadian couple Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje were third at 157.32. Bobrova and Soloviev were third heading into the free dance, but outscored Weaver and Poje by 6.51 points to move up one spot.

Weaver and Poje, both from Waterloo, Ont., were second after Saturday's short program and scored 157.32 for their fifth career medal on the circuit.

"It wasn't the greatest performance for us," said Poje. "Still, we didn't achieve some of our levels and having all that add up to losing a position, it's something we are not accustomed too and we don't like the feeling."

The Canadians delivered a passionate program to a piece called "Humanity in Motion" by American composer Nathan Lanier.

"We wanted to go with something a little more modern this season," said Weaver. "We have a really great vehicle in our free dance this year. We are showing a different side of ourselves.

"Today we showed we are emotionally invested in the program. It really moved well across the ice and we carried a lot of speed. Right now it's just the little technical things that add up and that's we need to clean up for our next event."
