Nine days after being released by the Edmonton Eskimos, running back Cory Boyd appears to be getting another shot with the club.
According to Boyd's agent, Gill Scott, the running back has rejoined the team.
Boyd, who was the odd man out in the Eskimos backfield before being released, will likely be a replacement for Hugh Charles who was injured during Friday's loss to the B.C. Lions.
Boyd was leading the CFL in rushing when he was released by the Toronto Argonauts in August.
