SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. -- An Ontario Hockey League player appeared in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., court on Monday after being charged with sexual assault on Saturday.

Mark Anthony Petaccio of Sicklerville, N.J., was released on bail and will make another court appearance on Oct. 1.

Police charged Petaccio and fellow Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds players Brian Nicholas Cousins, 19, of Belleville, Ont., and Andrew Douglas Fritsch, 19, of Brantford, Ont., with sexual assault of a female.
