Former Montreal Alouettes linebacker Diamond Ferri is heading West.
Ferri, who was released by the Alouettes in June, will be added to the Saskatchewan Roughriders practice roster on Wednesday.
The versatile Ferri, who also returned kicks and played special teams, spent five seasons in Montreal.
Last season with the Als, he was fourth in defensive tackles with 50 last season and had three sacks. He also led the team in kickoff return yards with 573.
The 30-year-old has 240 tackles and five interceptions in his CFL career.
