I think it is utter nonsense to consider the HTPC dead because of M$
changes to Media Center. I would never build an HTPC arounf M$ Media
Centr=er it id far too limited in what it will play: no SACD no DVD-A!
I use Foobar and Cyberlink and can play anything from Blu ray movies
thru SACD to DVD-A, all in surround via a Xonar DS2 sound card and a
Denon AVR.
What is complicated about that, once one gets the drivers installed?
