[SurroundSound] Re: oppo bdp93 analog out - DSD?

This could explain some strange things that happen which I didnt
understand-
I am currently connected with the HDMI cable to the TV (which
obviously cant decode DSD)
When I play this way, I see "SACD PCM" as the format being played.
On the other hand, if I play with the TV turned off, and then turn it
on- the SACD will stop by itself (probably due to the handshake)
So- in order to play SACD DSD, I need to keep the TV shut?
And how will I know it is actuall DSD (I wont have the on-screen
display)?
