Oppo doesn't recognize .ac3 audio files but it does if they are in
SPDIF wav-flac format. In this case Oppo bitstreams the flac'ed ac3
audio to my receiver and it decodes the files properly. However, when
my foobar bitstreams these modified ac3 files to my receiver I get
static noise. Which ac3 archival format and foobar setup do you
recommend in this situation? Both my PC and Oppo are hooked up to my
receiver through HDMI and I don't use (don't need till now) foobar
streaming towards my Oppo.
