As usual, Det. Columbo <g> is correct. The Oppo 93/95 players did a marvelous job of playing back ISO files. I find this the most convenient way for me to store my surround sound music on my hard disc. Not only can my Oppo play back these files seamlessly, but it also allows me to quickly create a burned copy ready to be played by *any* DVD/DVD-Audio/Blu-ray player by simply dragging and dropping the ISO file onto ImgBurn.
For these reasons, I have refused to update my BDP-93 with the newer firmware. And, keep in mind, once you update an Oppo with the newer firmware, you *cannot* go back to an older version. I am seriously considering buying another unit to keep in storage in the event my current one goes down...
