Montreal Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin continued Wednesday to put his stamp on the organization, adding Martin Lapointe and Patrice Brisebois to the player development staff, and hiring Sylvain Lefebvre as coach of the team's AHL affiliate, the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Lapointe, who had been a pro scouting with the Chicago Blackhawks, was named director of player development. Brisebois, who spent 16 of his 18 NHL seasons with the Canadiens, was named player development coach.

Lefebvre had spent the last five seasons with the Colorado Avalanche, including the last three as an assistant to Avs coach Joe Sacco.

Lefebvre replaces Clement Jodoin, who went 34-35-7 in his first season with the Bulldogs. The Canadiens announced Jodoin will meet with new Montreal coach Michel Therrien about a spot as an assistant coach on his Therrien's staff.
