I saw Yessongs in a NYC theater when the film was first released in the
USA. The sound even then -- nominally 'quad' (I suspect it was 3 front
channels, and one channel distributed in mono to two rear speakers) -- was
not that great, though others have different recollections -- see this

(I say the movie always sounded like the Yessongs album, only worse. ;>
