{allcanada} OHL: BROWN SCORES OT WINNER AS STING EVEN SERIES WITH SPIRIT

SAGINAW, Mich. - Tyler J. Brown scored 3:52 into overtime as the Sarnia Sting defeated the host Saginaw Spirit 4-3 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

Nail Yakupov had a goal and an assist for the Sting while Ryan Spooner and Anthony DeAngelo added a single goal each.

Domenic Alberga chipped in with two assists.

Garret Ross and Josh Shalla each had a goal and an assist for the Spirit and Carlos Amestoy scored the other.

JP Anderson made 43 saves for the win while Jake Paterson turned away 33 shots in defeat.

Sarnia went 2 for 7 on the power play as Saginaw scored once on four chances with the man advantage.

With the victory, the Sting have tied the Western Conference first-round series against the Spirit at one game apiece with Game 3 to take place this Monday in Sarnia.

OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Tobias Rieder scored the winning goal with 2:12 to play in the third period as the Kitchener Rangers edged the host Owen Sound Attack 3-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

Max Iafrate and Radek Faksa also scored for the Rangers while Michael Catenacci picked up an assist on each of his club's three goals.

Cameron Brace and Kyle Hope both scored for the Attack.

John Gibson stopped 35 shots for the win, and the game's first star, while Scott Stajcer turned away 25 shots in a losing effort.

Kitchener went 1 for 6 on the power play as Owen Sound scored once on five chances with the man advantage.

The Rangers now lead the Western Conference first-round series against Owen Sound 2-0 with Game 3 schedule for Monday in Kitchener.
