EDMONTON -- The Edmonton Eskimos signed punter-kicker Eric Wilbur on Wednesday.
Wilbur had 85 punts for 3,651 yards with Hamilton in 2010.
The 27-year-old averaged 43 yards and his longest kick was 69 yards before the Tiger-Cats released him prior to last season.
"We're very pleased to have Eric sign with us. He's a very good punter and kickoff specialist and will bring strong competition to those two critical areas of special teams," said Edmonton general manager Eric Tillman.
Wilbur has also had brief NFL stints with Houston, Jacksonville and the New York Jets. He spent the 2011 season with UFL's Omaha Nighthawks.
