The Ottawa Senators acquired forward Rob Klinkhammer from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Klinkhammer will join Ottawa's AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. The 25-year-old has two goals and four assists in 18 games with the Blackhawks' AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs. He has 56 goals and 133 points in 308 AHL games, and was scoreless in one NHL contest with the Blackhawks on Dec. 7, 2010.
