UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP)—Ondrej Pavelec(notes) stopped all 34 shots he faced, and Evander Kane(notes) provided all the offense the Winnipeg Jets needed in a 3-0 victory over the New York Islanders on Thursday night.
Johnny Oduya(notes) and Alexander Burmistrov also scored for the Jets, who have won three of four. Winnipeg will continue its tour of the New York metropolitan area with a game at New Jersey on Saturday and one against the Rangers on Sunday.

The second period was scoreless, despite the Islanders having a 19-6 edge in shots.
NOTES: The Jets have won three of four on the road. … Al Montoya(notes) served as DiPietro's backup.
