VANCOUVER -- The 99th Grey Cup could be Wally Buono's last as a head coach.

Buono says that he will make a decision about his CFL future after this weekend's championship game.

He will lead the B.C. Lions against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Grey Cup game Sunday at B.C. Place.

Buono was asked about his future plans at today's Grey Cup coaches news conference.

The 61-year-old Buono is completing his 22nd season as a CFL head coach and ninth with the Lions.

Buono is the winningest coach in CFL history with 254 regular-season wins and is attempting to capture his fifth career Grey Cup title as a head coach.

Buono, who is also the Lions' general manager, says his decision on whether to return next year in both capacities won't be dictated by whether B.C. wins or loses Sunday's game.

Buono has a verbal, year-to-year agreement with team owner David Braley.
