LONDON, Ont. — A Stratford, Ont., food bank has got a celebrity boost, thanks to Justin Bieber.
During an interview with entertainment show Access Hollywood, host Billy Bush, who was interviewing Bieber, said if the Stratford native asked his 13-million Twitter followers to follow Bush, he would give $5,000 to a charity of Bieber's choice.
Bieber did, tweeting, "With @billybush doing an interview follow him (he's) a good guy," and told Bush to send the money to a food bank in his hometown.
"You got it," Bush said.
The tweet has boosted Bush's Twitter followers by more than 15,000.
Asked by one of Bieber's followers on Twitter if he really sent the money to the charity, Bush tweeted he "was happy to."
Bieber is a strong supporter of the food bank, House of Blessing in Stratford, a service he and his mother used before the teen singing sensation made it to the top, donating $10,000 earlier this month, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
