[SurroundSound] DSD player

Does anyone know if there is a software player (preferably Windows based)
that can play DSD files? I know there's a foobar plug-in, but I thought it
was a real-time DSD-PCM converter.

I know someone who is working on a new piece of hardware that provides a
multichannel USB2 interface to DACs that support DSD decoding. He's working
on a couple of different driver implementations and would like to find a
native DSD player.
