ROEHAMPTON -- Canadian Aleksandra Wozniak booked her ticket to the main draw at Wimbledon.
The Blainville, Que., advanced with a 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory Friday over Russia's Nina Bratchikova in the final round of qualifying.
She won the final set a day after the match was suspended by rain while tied at a set apiece.
"In the second set I started anticipating better, reading my opponent's game better," said Wozniak. "Today, I came up strong knowing what my strategy would be against her, and it was much better than yesterday."
Wozniak holds the No. 171 position in the latest world rankings, 23 spots behind Bratchikova. She will be making her fifth appearance at Wimbledon, but has never made it past the second round.
Frank Dancevic of Niagara Falls, Ont., is hoping to join her. His final-round qualifying match was suspended Friday due to rain.
He led Marco Crugnola of Italy 6-2, 0-1 before play was halted.
