[SurroundSound] ApexDC++ Settings

Howdy.

I'm trying to get back on the Hub more after a series of adventures -
hard disc failure, overseas trip, dvd burner failure, finishing essays
for an alleged post-grad course - but I'm having a couple of issues
with ApexDC++ .

I've never been able to get any results from the search function, and
now after upgrading to 1.4.2 I get multiple connection timeouts. I
can connect to some members and have downloaded, but many others I can
never get a connection.

I think I have my portforwarding set up correctly, but what other
settings should I be looking at or tweaking? I've tried looking at
the ApecDC++ forum, but find the answers very general, without any
specifics of how to make the necessary changes.

Any help appreciated.
