Re: [SurroundSound] More Something New

Brian,

For whatever reason, I cannot browse your files (it just hangs trying to get the list). Has anyone else had this observation?

Thanks,

I am posting one more as I type, Pink Floyd-Dark Side Of The Moon
German SQ Rip on DVD-A ISO. This also includes an undecoded version in
stereo.

I looked about and no one has done the SQ vynil perhaps because the
SACD 5.1 channel version exists and there is the infamous OMT rip in
24 bit 4 channel DVD-A.

This is a bit different from those versions and is a period mix. I own
the Australian, UK and German versions in Quad as well as the MFSL,
James Guthrie 200 gram vynil, CD and SACD and a first issue stereo
with posters, postcards, and no stickers on the cover. They all are a
bit different. However, the SQ versions were for the most part the
same sonic quality and decoded the same with the exception of the
Japan Regular Matrix version which I have yet to see or hear. If
anyone has that and can rip it I am sure we would all show
appreciation. The german version was regarded as one of the better
pressed SQ versions.

It is something no one did so I thought might as well for archival
purpose.
