Edmonton rookie Taylor Hall, the top pick in last June's Entry Draft, left Thursday's game against Columbus in the second period with a left ankle injury.
Hall landed awkwardly after getting into the first fight of his NHL career with Derek Dorsett with 6:27 left in the second period. He had his 22nd goal of the season and an assist before leaving the game, which Edmonton won 4-2.
Hall has 42 points in 65 games this season.
The Oilers have lost their three leading scorers in as many games -- they traded Dustin Penner at the deadline on Monday, then lost Ales Hemsky for three weeks with a shoulder injury on Tuesday.
