Lakeland, FL (Sports Network) - Miguel Cabrera had a three-run double in the third inning to lead Detroit to a 6-2 win over Toronto in a split-squad game.
Austin Jackson scored on Cabrera's double and also had two hits and a walk, while Detroit's offseason free agent grab, Victor Martinez, went 3-for-4 and scored twice. Ramon Santiago had two hits and two RBI while Brandon Inge also notched two hits and an RBI.
Jacob Tuner got the win in three innings of work, surrendering two hits and an earned run while striking out one.
Brett Lawrie and Eric Thames both had two hits for the Blue Jays. Thames had a fourth-inning homer.
Ricky Romero was tagged with loss after giving up four runs on five hits and two walks. He struck out two batters.
