{allcanada} Going Further

Elvis was not ready to leave the building at Radio City Music Hall Sunday night. At the final NYC Furthur show, fans were wowed when Elvis Costello and his jazz pianist/singer wife, Diana Krall, added to the latest incarnation of the Grateful Dead. Costello strutted onstage, singing Jerry Garcia's vocals and playing guitar on five songs, including Dead classics "Friend of the Devil," "Ship of Fools" and "Ripple" with Krall on keys, and came back more than three hours later. For the second of three encores, Krall sang a jazzy version of Peggy Lee's "Fever."
