SAINT JOHN, N.B. -- Michael Kirkpatrick had a goal and an assist and Mathieu Corbeil-Theriault made 22 saves Tuesday as the Saint John Sea Dogs downed the Halifax Mooseheads 4-1 in the only game in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Tomas Jurco, Nathan Beaulieu and Stanislav Galiev had the other goals for Saint John (49-5-3), while Eric Gelinas added two assists.
Matthew Boudreau replied for Halifax (18-38-3) and Anthony Terenzio made 32 saves.
The Sea Dogs finished the night 2-for-3 on the power play, while the Moosesheads wound up 0-for-5.
