Josh Groban will play it straight in Canada this summer.
The popera superstar will visit the country on his Straight to You Tour 2011, performing eight shows between Vancouver and Montreal, promoters have announced.
The 30-year-old Los Angeles vocalist's northern trek begins with four dates in Eastern Canada in July, then shifts to the West for another quartet of shows at the end of August and beginning of September. The show will include songs from Groban's most recent disc Illuminations — which found him working with superstar producer Rick Rubin — as well as hits from his previous four releases, which have sold more than 25 million albums worldwide.
Tickets for most of the concerts go on sale Saturday, March 5 at Ticketmaster, and are priced between $80 and $120, depending on the market. An opening act has not be announced.
