Dane Fox scored both the equalizer and game winner, while Seth Griffith's four-point effort included a breakaway goal in the opening minute as the London Knights edged the conference-leading Owen Sound Attack 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Friday night.

Sacha Guimond's power-play goal at 18:59 of the opening period put London up 2-0. It was Guimond's first OHL goal in his 29th contest.

However, Robby Mignardi, Andrew Fritsch and Gemel Smith all tallied in a 9:14 stretch in the second period as the Attack earned a 3-2 advantage. Fritsch, who has 25 goals and 30 assists, ended a 10-game scoring drought.

London, which has now won four straight, including 4-2 win over Saginaw on Thursday, also received three assists from Vladislav Namestnikov. The Russian first-round import pick has a nine-game scoring streak counting six goals and 17 points.

Owen Sound entered as the No. 8 team in the Canadian Hockey League's weekly power rankings, but has now dropped four of its past six decisions.

The Knights will spend seven of their last nine in the regular season away from the John Labatt Centre as the downtown London facility prepares to host the national men's curling championships, The Brier.

Elsewhere in the OHL it was: Peterborough 6 Erie 5; Plymouth 4 Ottawa 3; Guelph 7 Barrie 4; Oshawa 4 Kingston 3 (OT); Kitchener 4 Saginaw 3; Mississauga 4 Brampton 3; Windsor 4 Sault Ste. Marie 2 and Sudbury 7 Sarnia 1.

At London, Ont., Michael Houser stopped 15 pucks in the third period and faced 42 shots overall for the Knights (32-22-5) to earn his fifth consecutive triumph.

Jordan Binnington made 20 saves on 24 shots for the Attack (38-17-4).

Petes 6 Otters 5

At Erie, Pa., Austin Watson scored his 30th goal of the season off a goal-mouth scramble with 47.4 seconds left in regulation time to snap a 5-5 tie and lift Peterborough over the Otters.

Watson scored twice for the Petes (19-38-2), while Alan Quine had a goal and an assist. Lino Martschini, Zach Tatrn and Kalle Ekelund all had singles. Jeremy Gottzmann chipped in with two assists.

Phil Varone led the Otters (32-26-2) with a goal and two assists. Anthony Luciani had two goals and Shawn Szydlowski scored and added an assist.

Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Greg McKegg also scored, while Brett Thompson and Mike Cazzola both had two assists.

Whalers 4 67's 3

At Plymouth, Mich., Stefan Noesen's power-play goal at 16:13 of the third period was the winner as the Whalers held on to beat Ottawa.

Austin Levi, Tyler Brown and captain Beau Schmitz also scored for Plymouth (32-21-5).

Tyler Toffoli, Cody Ceci and captain Thomas Nesbitt scored for the 67's (37-19-3), currently second in the Eastern Conference.

Storm 7 Colts 4

At Guelph, Ont., Taylor Beck had a pair of goals and three assists as the Storm disposed of Barrie.

Daniel Erlich scored and added two assists for Guelph (29-24-5), while Stephen Gaskin, Tim Campbell, Peter Holland and Kyle Pereira also found the back of the net.

Tanner Pearson had a goal and set up two others for the Colts (12-43-4), while John Padulo, Dylan Smoskowitz and Petr Beranek also scored.

Generals 4 Frontenacs 3 (OT)

At Kingston, Ont., Christian Thomas scored the game-wining goal as Oshawa defeated the Frontenacs in overtime.

Nicklas Jensen, Daniel Maggio and Calvin De Haan all scored for the Generals (33-16-8).

Taylor Doherty scored once and added an assist for the Frontenacs (26-26-5). Derek Froats and Ryan Spooner had goals as well.

Rangers 4 Spirit 3

At Kitchener, Ont., Tyler Randell, Gabriel Landeskog and Jerry D'Amigo all had a goal and an assist as the Rangers held on for a win over Saginaw.

Cody Sol had the other goal for Kitchener (36-15-7), which held a 4-0 lead early in the third but had to withstand a comeback by Saginaw.

John McFarland, Brandon Saad and Ivan Telegin scored for the Spirit (37-18-4).

Majors 5 Battalion 3

At Mississauga, Ont., Chris DeSousa and Rob Flick each scored a goal and an assist to lead the league-leading St. Michael's Majors past Brampton.

Michael D'Orazio, Marc Cantin and Casey Cizikas also tallied for Mississauga (43-12-2), which overcame a 3-2 deficit in the final five minutes.

Sam Carrick scored a goal and an assist while Craig Moore and Ian Watters replied for the Battalion (24-28-6).

Spitfires 4 Greyhounds 2

At Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., Taylor Carnevale scored the game-winner in the second period and also added an assist as Windsor downed the Greyhounds.

Stephen Johnston, Tom Kuhnhackl and Nick Czinder had the other goals for the Spitfires (33-21-5), while Ryan Ellis added three assists.

Vern Cooper and Nick Cousins replied for Sault Ste. Marie (19-32-8).

Wolves 7 Sting 1

At Sudbury, Ont., Eric O'Dell scored a hat trick, including two goals on the power play, and added an assist as the Wolves rocked Sarnia.

Andrey Kuchin earned first star honours by scoring a goal and adding four assists for Sudbury (24-31-3).

Forward Michael Sgarbossa contributed a goal and three assists, while Alex Racino added a goal and an assist. Brody Silk also added a goal for the Wolves.

Brandon Francisco was the lone scorer for the Sting (22-30-6).
