PARK CITY, Utah -- Christopher Del Bosco and Kelsey Serwa, winners at the Winter X Games, helped Canada enjoy a big day at the world freestyle ski championships Friday.
Del Bosco, of Sudbury, Ont., earned the top seed in qualifying and finished first in three of the four rounds he raced in to claim the men's ski cross title.
Serwa, of Kelowna, B.C., helped make it a Canadian sweep after taking advantage of the top three seeds losing in earlier rounds, including Germany's Heidi Zacher -- who came in ranked No. 1 in the world -- to claim the women's title. Julia Murray of Whistler, B.C., finished second.
