not sure about hackintosh. i imagine it would work just fine - all the
big audio apps work on hackintosh so this should too.
Also it has came to my attention that the the Mac version for Weiss
Saracon has been cracked! It's a recent release by the Scene. Saracon
is considered the best quality DSD to PCM conversion solution in the
world. (hardware OR software.)
So this is GREAT news for fans looking to convert DSD files to PCM -
at least those who have access to mac/hackintosh. There's no crack for
the windows version though.
But if you're serous about state of the art DSD to PCM conversion, you
may simply have to get/build yourself a mac - until/unless win version
is cracked.
Saracon also looks like a top PCM sample rate converter too! According
to bob katz: 'world's best audio sample rate converter'....exciting :)
