HAMILTON, Ont. -- Khari Jones is the new offensive co-ordinator of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The former CFL outstanding player was promoted after spending the past two seasons as quarterbacks coach. Last year, Kevin Glenn has one of the best QB performances in team history, throwing for 5,106 yards and 33 touchdowns while completing more than 64 per cent of his passes.
"It is with much excitement that we name Khari as our new offensive co-ordinator," coach Marcel Bellefeuille said in a statement. "He has been instrumental in the development of our quarterbacks the last two seasons. He is widely respected by both our players and coaching staff.
Jones replaces Mike Gibson, who left Hamilton at the end of the season and is now a running backs coach with the Calgary Stampeders.
Jones spent eight years in the CFL as a quarterback, earning multiple all-star nods and winning the outstanding player award in 2001.
