CHICAGO -- Nigel Dawes scored four times and Riley Holzapfel got two of his own Wednesday as the Chicago Wolves pounded the Toronto Marlies 9-3 in the American Hockey League.
Ryan Garbutt, Andrew Kozek and Jason Krog had the other goals for Chicago (21-16-3), while Mark Matheson and Darren Haydar had three assists each.
Drew MacIntyre made 32 saves to pick up the win.
Nazem Kadri, Josh Engel and Matt Caruana scored for Toronto (17-15-6).
Jussi Rynnas started and allowed six goals on 24 shots for Toronto before being replaced by Ben Scrivens.
