Trent Samuels-Thomas scored the winner with under four minutes to go in the third period Tuesday as the Drummondville Voltigeurs downed the Rimouski Oceanic 3-2 in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Jonathan Brunelle added a goal and two assists for Drummondville (24-9-5), while Alexandre Comtois also scored. Marc-Olivier Vachon had two assists.
Jarrad Struthers and Julien Levasseur replied for Rimouski (20-18-1). Alex Belzile picked up two assists.
Elsewhere in the QMJHL it was: Montreal 5, Victoriaville 2; Quebec 7, Rouyn-Noranda 3; and Baie-Comeau 5, Chicoutimi 2.
At Drummondville, Que., Levasseur scored at 10:50 of the third to pull Rimouski even at 2-2 but Samuels-Thomas restored the Voltiguers lead at 16:09.
Guillaume Nadeau made 25 saves to pick up the win for Drummondville, while Morgan Clark stopped 29 shots in defeat.
Juniors 5, Tigres 2
At Montreal, David Rose and Denis Kindl each scored twice as the Juniors topped Victoriaville.
Jean-Christophe Laflamme had the other goal for Montreal (27-5-5).
Philip-Michael Devos and Carl-Antoine Delisle replied for Victoriaville (19-16-3).

Remparts 7, Huskies 3
At Quebec City, Joe Dube and Jonathan Audy-Marchessault each had two goals and an assist as the Remparts thumped Rouyn-Noranda.
Alexandre Grenier, Martin Lefebvre and Frederick also scored for Quebec (29-7-2).
Robbie DeFulviis, Jonathan Bonneau and Jason Kelly had the goals for the Huskies (5-30-3).

At Baie-Comeau, Que., Jason Missiaen made 30 saves as the Drakkar topped Chicoutimi.
Lukas Cingel, with two, Jean-Philippe Caron, Raphael Bussieres and Alexandre Durette had the goals for Baie-Comeau (5-25-9).
Alexandre Roy and Guillaume Asselin replied for Chicoutimi (14-17-6), while Robin Gusse stopped 24 shots in defeat.
