[SurroundSound] Re: Blu-ray player with SACD support.

I've got some (bad) news for everyone - Oppo has stopped producing the
BDP-83 and BDP-80, lack of a key (undisclosed) part has forced their
hand. Look it up on their website www.oppodigital.com. To quote them
"Due to a shortage of major components used to manufacture the BDP-83
(and BDP-80), we have ceased production of this model."

The new BDP-93 is due out soon, I've been registered to be notified by
them when it is available. If you want to buy an 83 or an 80, you'll
have to find a used source or a stockist who still has some
available. Repeat, they are no longer in production by Oppo - and
that is a damn shame, they are exceptional units.
