[SurroundSound] Re: Bandwidth Issues

I joined the hub in similar circumstances, but my ISP at the time Plus
Net had me on a monthly contract. Once I was sure I was going to be
consuming copious bandwidth I ended that £15 per month contract and
got cable at £37 per month. You get what you pay for I guess, but I
remember many years of my life living in remote non-cabled areas,
where I just would not have had this choice.
Those on Comcast may not have any alternative ISP to go to. The USA
seems to have much less choice and be more restrictive with ISPs
having a virtual monopoly in many areas.
