{allcanada} Ticats trio clean up weekly awards

TORONTO -- Quarterback Kevin Glenn, defensive end Stevie Baggs and receiver Chris Bauman, who all helped the Hamilton Tiger-Cats defeat the Montreal Alouettes last week, received CFL weekly honours Tuesday.

Glenn was a unanimous pick as the league's offensive player of the week, completing 21-of-32 passes for 371 yards and two TDs in Hamilton's convincing 40-3 victory. It's the third time this season Glenn has received the award.

Baggs was also a unanimous pick as the top defensive player for the second straight week. The five-year veteran had four tackles, an interception, one pass knock down and returned a fumble recovery 80 yards for a touchdown.

Bauman, too, was a unanimous selection as top Canadian. Bauman, in his fourth CFL season, had five catches for 116 yards and two TDs, his first career 100-yard game.

Toronto kick-returner Chad Owens was a unanimous pick as special-teams player, the fifth time this season he has captured the honour, The first-year Argo accumulated 169 total return yards in a 27-8 win over Winnipeg, which included returning a missed field goal try 109 yards for a TD as the Argos clinched a playoff berth.
