
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP)—Mason Raymond(notes) scored on a lucky bounce 28 seconds into overtime and the Vancouver Canucks recovered from blowing a late lead to beat the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 on Tuesday night.
Peter Schaefer's(notes) first goal in 2 1/2 years put Vancouver ahead five minutes into the third period, but Matt Duchene(notes) tied it with 1:33 left while goalie Peter Budaj(notes) was pulled for an extra attacker.
Jeff Tambellini(notes) also scored for the second straight game since being moved up to the top line, and Ryan Kesler(notes) added a power-play goal for the Canucks, 4-0-1 at home,
David Jones(notes) and Daniel Winnik(notes) had goals, and Budaj made 26 saves for Colorado, which dropped its third straight. The Avalanche also lost No. 1 goalie Craig Anderson(notes) to a knee injury during pregame warmups.
