{allcanada} QMJHL: GIBSON MAKES 37 SAVES AS SAGUENEENS BEAT VOLTIGUERS

Guillaume Asselin scored twice and Christopher Gibson made 37 saves Wednesday as the Chicoutimi Sagueneens downed the Drummondville Voltigeurs 3-2 in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Alexandre Lavoie had the other goal for Chicoutimi (6-7-4), while Rock Regimbald added two assists.

Julien Tremblay and Ondrej Palat replied for Drummondville (12-5-2). Andrew Randazzo chipped in with two assists.

Elsewhere in the QMJHL it was: Lewiston 4, Rimouski 2; Saint John 5, Val d'Or 4; and Gatineau 6, Halifax 2.

At Chicoutimi, Que., Dominic Graham gave up three goals on 10 shots before being replaced in the Drummondville goal by Jean-Philippe Boucher with the Voltiguers trailing 3-1 early in the second.

Boucher stopped all 13 shots he faced.

Maineaics 4, Oceanic 2

At Rimouski, Que., Stefan Fournier had a goal and an assist as Lewiston topped the Oceanic.

Samuel Henley, Etienne Brodeur and Olivier Dame-Malka had the other goals for the Maineiacs (10-7-2).

Charles-Antoine Roy and Alex Belzile replied for Rimouski (9-9-0).

Sea Dogs 5, Foreurs 4

At Val d'Or, Que., the Sea Dogs scored three times in the third to stun the Foreurs.

Jonathan Huberdeau brought Saint John to within 4-3 before Ryan Tesink scored twice in the final nine minutes of the third for the Sea Dogs.

Zack Phillips and Aidan Kelly scored for Saint John (12-3-1).

Jean-Francois Leblanc had a goal and two assists for the Foreurs (10-6-2). Guillaume Naud, Olivier Archambault and Gabriel Beaupre also scored for Val d'Or.

Olympiques 6, Mooseheads 2

At Halifax, Philippe Halley scored twice as Gatineau thumped the Mooseheads.

Adam Janosik, Nicolas Deslauriers, Jordan Bernier and Tye McGinn had the other goals for Gatineau (8-7-2).

Matthew Boudreau had both goals for Halifax (4-13-1).
