KITCHENER, Ont. -- Matthew Tipoff scored the game-winner as the Kitchener Rangers beat the London Knights 3-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Tuesday.
Ryan Murphy and Matia Marcantuoni also scored for Kitchener, which rebounded from a 2-1 deficit in the third period. Jason Akeson added two assists.
Tyler J. Brown and Cody Donnay scored for London. Daniel Erlich assisted on both goals.
Brandon Maxwell made 26 saves for Kitchener (8-4-0). Michael Houser stopped 30 shots for London (7-3-1).
Lebar scores twice, visiting Frontenacs cruise to win over Wolves
SUDBURY, Ont. -- Mitch Lebar scored twice as the Kingston Frontenacs scored five straight goals en route to a 6-2 win over the Sudbury Wolves in Ontario Hockey League action Tuesday.
Nathan Moon had a goal and two assists, while Conor Stokes, Corey Durocher and Alan Quine also scored for Kingston.
Mike Lomas and Marcus Foligno replied for Sudbury.
Franky Palazzese made 32 saves for Kingston (7-4-1) while Alain Valiquette stopped 25 shots for Sudbury (4-7-1).
