Off-season conditioning continues to go well for unrestricted free agent defenceman Willie Mitchell, who is coming off a concussion suffered in mid-January after being run from behind by Evgeni Malkin.
Mitchell, who has been symptom free while training and skating hard for the better part of three weeks, has upwards of 12 teams interested in his services.
The Port McNeill, B.C., native has narrowed it down to four teams including the Canucks; the other teams are believed to be the Red Wings, Sharks and Capitals.
