That was a sad day yesterday and all I can say is good luck Glen.
Obviously I know Glen quite well and I do know that what he is about to do is his vocation. Glen has a unique opportunity and the talent and so seriously must pursue this course. So Wish You Well Glen...
Unfortunately because we have not done any succession planning we have only got a couple of days to put something in place for the hub.
I would like everyone to contribute what they would believe to be the best on this one. Then I will try and reach some kind of consensus view. I am quite a novice on hosting Apex so I don't really know what the requirements are, so first of all can someone point me in the direction please?
What I do have in mind on a practical level is that we need to really think about having a couple of assistant ops, in case of the many scenarios that can and may occur.
I am also going to have discussions about how we manage OD's contribution, maybe a members only ftp server could be the answer as it is impractical for everyone to be a hub member.
Please let this thread be as open minded as possible because now may be the time to put things in place that could be beneficial to all of us.
