I totally agree, and i suspect they will find it hard to recover fromas well, they've shown a great deal of contempt towards their fee paying customers, and who could trust them again in the future

Just had news back from the Phrock blog; they will be not using RS for any
more uploads. They have not indicated what they will use. I suggest like Tab
said on the Hub, that we find a few to try.
BTW I've only got 3 days to go before mine expires and at the moment I
cannot transfer my old points.
Very poor and mis-judged RS decision methinks.

Subject: [SurroundSound] Re: New Rapidshare Plans
RS gave an update on their business plan:
1. They changed the account rapids amount back to what I wanted.
2. They gave me back half the rapids that were spent.
3. They added a new limit drop-down so this shouldn't happen again.
Based on these three points, my account will make it another month, provided
incidents like this don't recur.
Another weird thing. I deleted well over 100 files yesterday. Their
interface showed the files were deleted, but didn't decrease the amount of
server space I'm using. I figured that update would take place today.
Instead, what happened is that all of my deleted files came back. Apparently
I can't delete files from my own account.
RS sends really weird mixed messages. I'm confused.
I found a script and a website that allows you to transfer your RS files to
other fileshares. Megaupload is in that list. Maybe these tools will help me
transfer my on-line collection.
If so, I'll post some links.
