Sportsnet has learned that the injury to BC Lions quarterback Casey Printers is more serious than previously reported.
MRI results on his right knee revealed a torn miniscus, and a partially torn ACL. Initial tests done last week were inconclusive, but the extent of the injury was discovered when swelling in the knee subsided.
Printers suffered the injury in the third quarter of the Lions loss to Montreal on July 16th. He finished that game, but did sit out last week's game in Toronto. Travis Lulay will make his second straight start for the Lions this week in Edmonton.
