Toronto FC is on the precipice of adding some attacking help.

The Athletic's Tom Bogert report the team is finalizing a deal with Sporting Kansas City for Hungary winger Daniel Salloi.

Bogert notes that the 29-year-old Salloi will not be a Designated Player for Toronto with the Reds expected to send $300,000 in General Allocation Money and $700,000 in add-ons to complete the deal.

A native of Siofok, Salloi joined the SKC academy in 2015 and made his senior league debut for the team in 2017. Over nine Major League Soccer seasons, Salloi has 54 goals and 33 assists in 242 matches. He was an All-Star in 2021.

Internationally, Salloi has been capped four times by Hungary.

The Reds open up their 2026 MLS campaign on Saturday with a visit to FC Dallas.
